As we look back on the 2022 Global Patrón Perfectionists Finals, we remember moments of community, expertly delivered presentations, and unparalleled tequila education and immersion in Mexico. It’s important to remember the journey that led each of our Perfectionists to the Hacienda. Before they met each other and spent a week forming bonds that will last a lifetime, they each started from the same spot - a moment of true inspiration.

To nurture that spark and follow it all the way to the Global Finals is no small feat. The finalists' collective creativity served as a basis for friendships that led the group through red soil agave fields, music-filled streets beneath papel picado, and under the shining sun of Atotonilco. It takes a killer cocktail to become a Patrón Perfectionist, but it takes the experience to truly learn what that means.

We’re excited to continue following and celebrating the journeys of each and every competitor that started 18 months prior with a recipe and a purpose, and forged a new path through video submissions, virtual judging, and social media screenings for friends and family. What began online and ended in person was a competition unlike any other, one that transcended the 14 native countries represented.
